The Finance - Business Area Control function provides support for the Global Transaction Bank – Trust and Securities Services & Cash Management Financial Institutions Business group.

 

The BAC position is based in NY, in support of both US regional and global consolidation support activities.  Position has become open, as a result of a resignation.

 

Purpose and Responsibilities:

 

Support Global / Local business and product teams, including:

• Annual planning / quarterly forecasting processes

• Monthly results analysis and commentary; variance investigation and resolution

• Analysis / investigation of underlying business drivers (transactions, clients, accounting events) and trends

• Support of new deals / transactions

• Analysis of revenue and cost drivers

• Limited Ad Hoc MIS

• Cost and revenue allocation analysis and management

 

Support Local Control Activities, including:

• Monthly balance sheet substantiation process

• Liquidity management analysis support

• Inter-company accounting and settlement process

• Cost allocation accounting

• Cost and revenue accruals

• Limited regulatory compliance reporting

• Sarbanes Oxley support

 

 

Level of skills, abilities and knowledge:

 

 Degree in Accounting or Finance desired; other business related degrees may be considered.

 1 to 3 years of related experience.

 Advanced MS Excell skills a must

 MS Access experience a plus

 Experience with SAP a plus
