5+ years of hands-on delivery/configuration consulting experience in SAP/FI/CO (Finance & Controlling) (v 4.6+) as well as SAP/FI/CO team lead/project management experience with a minimun of 2 full life cycle implementations required. Bachelor's degree major field of study: Computer Science or Equivalent work experience. Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills combined with analytical and interpersonal skills. Ideal candidate would also have a successful history of applying structured project management methodologies on projects. The SAP/ FI/CO Managing Consultant is responsible for successful delivery of SAP/FI/CO (Finance & Controlling) modules' deliverables to SAPFI/CO Mid-Market engagements, including implementations, upgrades, and extension of existing applications. The SAP/FI/CO Managing Consultant assists clients and leads teams in the selection, implementation and support of SAP/FI/CO solutions which include design, configuration, and testing. Consultant will provide SAP/FI/CO functional and business process expertise and provide hands-on leadership and direction to the project team, consultants, subcontractors, remote global resources, and client employees. The Managing Consultant participates in qualifying and pursuing client sales opportunities and may play a lead role in developing the solution, scope, estimates, and client proposal as well as may be heavily involved in business case development. looking for in-depth knowledge in the following areas: Strong SAP/FI/CO functional knowledge (version 4.6+); Ability to apply SAP/FI/CO knowledge to resolve configuration and technical issues; 2 Full Life cycle implementations with SAP/FI/CO; leadership of small teams on at least one project. Additionally, looking for applied knowledge with the ability to perform tasks with assistance in the following areas: Process definition, analysis, design, and implementation; Ability to conduct business requirements definition sessions and apply required configuration changes; Motivating teams to excel and transferring knowledge to client personnel; Developing Test plan scenarios, and script development; History of medium to large client interaction and process consulting experience; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. As the majority of our work is performed at clients sites, 100% travel will be required and candidates must live near major metropolitan airports.
Candidate Must Have :
* 5 years of Configuration experience in SAP/FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
* History of leading a small team on at least one project
* 2 Full Lifecycle implementations in FI/CO
* Exceptional interpersonal skills good with peers, employees, and clients
* Need to have more senior vs more junior candidates
It is expected that newly hired resources live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL, Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area, Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco,k CA; and Washington, DC.
If a candidate is currently on an H1-B visa, they must have a minimum of 2 years left on their H1-B including all extensions.
