Job Title:         Application Developer, Java and C# 

 

Description:

 

Application development in Unix and Windows environment using SDLC methodology. Integration of vendor and custom built systems, including data export and import to various systems.

 

Primary functions/activities:

• Design, develop , enhance and maintain  applications in J2EE, Java, C
• Develop, enhance and maintain applications in C#
• Application integration of vendor systems and custom applications and extraction and upload of data between applications
• Interact with users to understand requirements and translate to technology solutions
• Working with corporate security, infrastructure, database management and other technology groups
• Follow and adhere to SDLC process
• Learn new technologies and asset management business
• Second level production and user support

 

Experience/Skills:

• Proficient in J2EE, Java , XML and Web Services
• Working knowledge of C#

 

• Experience in Unix shell/Perl scripts

 

• Experience in database SQL and stored process, preferably Sybase
• Experience with data warehousing techniques
• Knowledge of SDLC process
• Familiarity with scheduling systems (preferably Autosys)
• Good communication skills
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Experience in Financial industry/asset management is desirable
• 7-10 years plus of technology experience
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
