Senior Business Analyst - (US-NY-New York)

Compensation: $120K - $150K / Year

The Senior Business Analyst’s duties include, but are not limited to:
• Understanding of the platform
• Working with the QA team to increase their knowledge of products and financial accounting
• Assist in the documentation/design of the future version of A5
• Writing of Test Cases
• Entering test cases into QA tools
• Execution of such test cases
• Effectively logging defects
• Communicating with colleagues, management
• Assisting with various projects as assigned

Qualifications required:
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
• BS or BA in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• 10 years experience in Financial Services with heavy exposure to financial
accounting in either a Middle Office or Back Office capacity
• Broad and deep knowledge of Capital Markets financial instruments
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook skills
• Knowledge of hedge or mutual funds
• Attention to detail
• Ability to train/mentor others who do not come from strong financial services backgrounds
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and take-on multiple projects
