Seeking a buyer to provide operational support and assist in the selection and procurement of merchandise to support the overall company sales, volume, gross margin, and turnover objectives for our various divisions. This position will have responsibility for setting up vendor and market appointments, ongoing communication with vendors, and market trips. The position will have responsibility for managing samples, obtaining buyer approvals, preparing for turn-in meetings, and general administrative support of the buying team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as strong leadership and managerial skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Finance / Economics, Marketing, Merchandising, or related business degree.
Associate Buyers may apply if you have independent market responsibilities.
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-changing environment.
2 plus years buying experience from a RETAIL BACKGROUND ONLY
in one of these disciplines: Accessories, Linens or Sportswear
