SOX SR. BUSINESS ANALYST; IMMEDIATE HIRE Connecticut--New Brittain vicinity

SENIOR SOX BUSINESS ANALYST   Connecticut 

Salary range 70-90K

Travel: 25-50%

 

They will relocate the right candidate

They will fly people to their office for interviews

 

Major  Responsibilities:

·         Interpret business processes and identify control points to ensure SOX compliance

·         Administer the Company’s internal control testing program for the Division

·         Identify and apply best and leading practices to core business processes

·         Act as Business Advisor to functional leaders in SOX matters

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business process owners to identify and remediate internal control weaknesses identified through testing
• Develop, implement and sustain preventative, detective and monitoring controls for all core business processes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control framework on a routine basis
• Continually refine and communicate key control objectives to ensure ongoing compliance. 
• Identify and implement business process changes resulting in strengthened internal controls and operational efficiencies
• Offer recommendations on streamlining the testing program and minimize its impact on the business
• Serve as a team member on special projects 

Requirements:

• 4-7 years Audit or Accounting experience preferably with prior Big 4 Public/Audit-senior role
• BS Degree in Accounting
• Experience with The Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• MBA/CPA/CIA preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
