Traffic Position - (US-NY-New York)

Compensation: $45K - $50K / Year

Initiate, coordinate and track delivery of materials including masters, bonus content, art, screeners, legal documents, etc directly from licensors and filmmakers.
Send masters for QC and follow up with licensors regarding acceptability and redelivery for masters that do not pass QC.
Traffic masters to authoring houses.
Assign copy for packaging, collateral materials, etc. and track progress to ensure deadlines are met; gather and supply background materials (synopsis, screeners, etc) to copywriters.
Issue weekly update on status of all copy.
Coordinate proofreaders for copy, text extras, dvd menus, etc.
Complete copy forms adding copyrights, credits, numbers, etc. and forward to art dept.
Obtain sign offs and approvals from filmmakers/licensors as required.
Review DVD menu pages, DVD-Rs and check discs.
Attend weekly production meetings, and art meeting; update group on status and required follow up.
Generate all internal A&E and PO's for production, mktg, and art; follow up as needed.
Traffic POs for approval and distribute to vendors.
Process billbacks by creating PO's for invoicing purposes.
Provide general assistant duties for VP, Production including scheduling meetings, filing, shipping, sending messengers, following up with authoring houses, etc.
Researches and interviews interns for Production/Ops; manages intern.
Jr. DVD Producer duties upon success of other responsibilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

2 years experience in the video/film/music/advertising industry
Excellent written, oral & interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent follow up and ability to multitask required.
Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills.
Team player who is flexible and adaptable.
Solution oriented and resourceful.
Accountable/takes ownership for responsibilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word.
