Business Analyst--Learn SAP--Princeton, NJ

- Consult with clients to ascertain and define needs or problem areas, and determine scope of investigation required to obtain solutions

- Analyze / define business process requirements and delivers to the client

- Support setup of enhancement requests, test cases and understands technical fine specifications

- Support the definition of reporting requirements

- Configure the software to enable demonstration of business processes and business requirements on “sandbox” system in order to facilitate blueprinting

- Support testing activities and resolution of test issues

- Ensure quality of deliverables

- Conduct study or survey on need or problem to obtain data required for solution.

- Analyze data to determine solution such as installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices, modification of machines or equipment, or redesign of products or services.

- Create status reports as required.

- Advise client on alternate methods of solving need or problem, or recommends specific solution.

- Communicate to the client and to the project team

- Learn additional applications (FS-RI, FS-CD, etc.) in technical as well as business respects

 

Essential Skills

Business Knowledge

- Expertise in complex primary/reinsurance business processes (industry knowledge)

- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environments where strong interpersonal communication skills are essential

- Consulting skills and mindset (advisory role, knowledge transfer, etc.)

 

IT-Knowledge

- Knowledge of the SAP environment (configuration, ASAP) preferred but not required

- Expertise in the areas of FS-RI, FS-CD, FS-CD, GL, FI preferred (WILL TRAIN)

- In depth knowledge of  at least one administrative system in the insurance area (user or business expert)

- At least five years of primary and/or reinsurance knowledge

- Ability to reflect business knowledge in IT-processes and solutions

 

Essential Prerequisites

- Ability to travel 100% - $$$ Monthly Travel Incentive Offered $$$

- Relocation to an area commutable to Princeton, New Jersey - Relocation Allowance provided
