senior oracle DBA to be a team lead with the following experience:
- At least 10 years working with oracle technology
- 5 years in managing a team of DBA’s.
- Project management and customer interaction.
- Managing large scale oracle deployments.
- Managing large oracle databases servicing OLTP and DSS applications.
Solid understanding of oracle internal architecture is a plus.
- Performance tuning of database and SQL’s.
- Design and implementation of enterprise backup and recovery strategies for
Databases.
- Designing and implementing database replication strategies.
- Experience in database software management (patch and version management).
- Case management with oracle technical support.
- Experience in designing repetitive processes.
- Coaching and mentoring.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Oracle Certification in 10G a must.
- Knowledge of ODBC/OTL/Perl is a plus.
