The Sr. Configuration Engineer will be work in concert with various technical and business units to ensure that the necessary development and support infrastructure is in place to establish branch strategy, new development maintenance, maintenance releases and emergency fixes all occur successfully. This position requires the ability to oversee change management, builds, software integration test execution, source change control and change reporting. This candidate will be given the task of setting and implementing best practices using cutting edge development tools including Visual Studio, Subversion and Bugzilla.


Specific Responsibilities Include:
· Create effective SCM strategies for new and existing products

· Design, schedule and implement SCM projects

· Accurately provide management with up to date progress reports on existing projects

· Implement SCM process improvements, standards, best practices and technical tools

· Sustain and automate build processes

· Appropriate archiving of releases

· Control branching and merging of code

· Execute and coordinate software testing before deliverables are presented to Integration & Test team.

· Develop release notes for I&T deliveries

Knowledge:
· 4 yeare degree minimum

Experience:
· 5+ years experience as a Software Configuration Manager in a high volume .Net (C# and C++) environment
· 3+ years experience using Subversion and Bugzilla in a Microsoft Windows environment
· 5+ years direct, hands-on experience with CM for software versioning, builds etc
· 3+ years experience in software testing in a Windows environment
· Bachelors Degree or Higher required
· Demonstrable and excellent writing and verbal skills
· Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
