PAID RELOCATION AVAILABLE 

• Directing and creating the application architecture, reviews and approves major technology implementation decisions, and helps resolve technology issues during the project lifecycle. 
• Leading solution analysis efforts across multiple Information Services (IS) teams. 
• Delivering technology Solution Recommendations and Application Software Designs that meet business objectives 
• Accountability for the overall system feasibility, system architecture and system integrity. 
• Balancing technical considerations and project cost constraints with the purpose of creating designs that fit the business function and are consistent with NCC’s Enterprise Architecture strategy. 
• Promoting and leveraging NCC Enterprise Architecture practices within project solution designs 
• Conducting software development proof-of-concepts and establishing software best practices and patterns for the development teams 
• Provides technical guidance, design expertise and leadership for technology related projects 
• Manages multiple projects at one time which are generally medium to large in scope (from $100k – $8mm) with a duration of 3 months to 1.5 years 

Job Requirements 
Education 
• 4-year degree in Computer Sciences, MIS, or related field of study, or equivalent experience 
Relevant Experience required: 
• Minimum of 7 years experience in software development with three (3) or more years experience in a senior role 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a development team 
• Experience with all aspects of application design, development, testing and deployment, with strong architectural and design skills. 
• Experience with industry standard application development patterns and frameworks such as .NET and J2EE 
• Experience integrating application systems within an enterprise environment 
• Strong understanding of network, database, platform, and operating systems technologies 
• Strong understanding of information security practices
