We are a global publicly held advanced materials company which develops and manufactures high-technology digital and RF/microwave printed circuit materials and advanced composite materials principally for the telecommunications and internet infrastructure, high-end computing and aerospace markets.
We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant for our Corporate Accounting Department. This position will be involved with various diverse accounting responsibilities as described below.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and post journal entries for month end and quarterly closings
• Assist in preparation of corporate and consolidated financial statements
• Account reconciliations
• Preparation and maintenance of various internal reports
• Maintain pricing database
• Assist with internal audits
• Adhoc reporting and analysis
The candidate will be required to travel to domestic and international business units to conduct financial and internal control (SOX) audits .
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA license a plus
• 2-3 years experience in the accounting field with emphasis in preparing financial statements on a multi-company basis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Computer literacy required, including advanced proficiency in Excel
• Detailed knowledge of general ledger systems, preferably Oracle
