Position can be perm or Contract to Hire
You will lead the implementation for highly visible , high volume web-based applications, including all aspects of web development requirements gathering and documentation, software development, testing, user documentation and training, execution and on-going support and maintenance for both, in house and customer web sites. You will work closely with a cross functional team, using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. The code needs to be high-quality, using proprietary software developed in house coding standards. Among your many attributes, you are a self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly changing environment, and you have a strong desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with PM & CTO to review projects and establish timelines and system requirements
Develop solutions using one or more of the following: Action Script 2.0/3.0, Flex, Javascript, PHP, D/HTML, MySQL, AJAX, CSS and XML
Ability to design and develop OO systems
Develop code in reusable flash modules that communicate with web services and rely on flash remoting technologies
Deploy and maintain packages to production system utilizing Linux shell command line
Work with SQL relational database, SQL coding, physical database design and stored procedures
Coordinate change management, maintenance, and issues with appropriate groups
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science
2+ years experience developing web based applications
Must demonstrate strong analytical and math skill sets
Must demonstrate a track record of clean and well executed flash designs
Expert level knowledge of the following:
Adobe CS3 design suite, Flash remoting, PHP, Web services, Linux and Apache and DB design in MySQL or equivalent
