Strategic Planning Analyst - (US-NY-New York)

Compensation: $70K - $85K / Year

Undergraduate degree required. MBA or other graduate degree is preferred

3 + years in financial services with a preference for management consulting firm experience or professional services exp (i.e., Big 4) Note: candidate can have less than 3 years experience but must be exceptional (a very capable junior-level person)
Experience must be performing financial analysis, competitive or market research, organizational analysis or project execution.
Must have familiarity with financial statements and knowledge of banking industry. Some experience with project management and exposure to other functional areas is a big plus.


Function and Responsibilities:
Assist in the analysis, development and implementation of strategy efforts at the Bank
Assist in measuring and monitoring the performance of the Bank
Assist with special projects as needed
Analyze the performance or position of the Bank, other Banks, members and other entities.
Assist in developing and refining Bank strategies, e.g., business, customer, financial, technology, operations and HR strategies
Assist in overseeing successful execution of Bank strategies
Support analysis and/or implementation of changes to Bank activities that have a strategic aspect
Assist in refining Bank performance metrics for measuring, evaluating and monitoring the Bank’s results on meeting needs of Bank stakeholders
Create management presentations, summary memos and other reports
Be an analytic resource for the Bank of strategic issues
Maintain department papers and electronic filings, scanning and management records
Keep abreast of current issues with the markets, financial services industry and systems
Perform all other duties as assigned and take on other responsibilities as requested.
Will have regular interaction with staff in various departments and at multiple levels across the Bank.
