Extensive knowledge of the contract binding business
Deep understanding of fire and wind issues and guidelines
Work hand-in-hand with Underwriting Director and Claims Dept on small to mid-sized commercial accounts
Write Property and Casualty lines of business
Experience with three basic types of liability: simple, broad and special form for wind and non-wind (i.e., coastal and non-coastal)
Knowledge and experience of wind aggregates
Solid property brokerage experience, decision-making relative to general commercial property and casualty/liability
Develop solid guidelines relative to property side
Experience with nuances relative to property side
Ability to monitor wind aggregates
Work closely with London division
Continued education in the field will be required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
10 yrs Insurance experience
Proven track record of underwriting excellence
