The Senior Analyst is responsible for managing the production of a variety of daily reports pertaining to these businesses, as well as the integrity of market data. This individual will have a broad knowledge of the business areas/trading desks for which they are responsible (covered area) for managing. To that extent, familiarity with the products traded on those desks is required. For the business areas/trading desks for which the MRM is responsible, (s)he will: Serve as the resident expert of market risk capital related matters including signing off on all market risk based capital submissions, Review and sign off on daily consolidated risk reports including cancel and amend reporting, Manage all consolidated risk report submissions into various risk governance committees inclusive of providing executive summary, Represent Market Risk in  risk meetings related to Economic Capital and stress testing, Advisory function for traders and management on risk, hedging, and market risk related control issues, Complete other related duties as assigned. Support the Company’s Diversity programs. Makes day-to-day independent decisions to resolve day-to-day issues. Expected to make the necessary decisions to carry out own job responsibilities and meet primary goals and objectives. Analyzes and escalates unusual or complex issues to manager.


Basic Qualifications:

Degree in numerate subject preferred
Experience of Microsoft office - VB/VBA, Access, Project preferred
Demonstrate leadership, Proven personnel and project management skills
Product knowledge of products traded by covered areas
Through understanding of pricing and modeling issues and limitation
Ability to challenge traders in regard to their trading strategies
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate risk to management and the business concisely
Excellent attention to detail
Requires someone who understands the business - NOT someone who just issues limit reports, Need to ADD VALUE to the process
The role is based on the trading floor and involves direct contact with traders all day
The successful candidate will be able to work unsupervised without the need for constant direction
Strong knowledge about Risk Management and complex financial products
