· 8+ years experience developing increasingly complex and sophisticated software, of which 4 years were at the senior/architect level
· Experience architecting complex large scale systems incorporating packaged and custom applications
· 5-7 years experience in core Java and J2EE custom-software development
· 5+ years managing and mentoring team of direct reports
· Experience with test-driven development, Agile software development, preferably XP, and customer-centric software development practices
· Strong Struts, Spring, and Webflow 1/2 and object/relationship modeling experience (Torque, Hibernate, IBATIS, etc.)
· Strong knowledge of Design Patterns and UML
· Excellent knowledge in Object Oriented analysis, design and programming
· Ability to plan technical architecture and develop documentation
· Experience with ORM framework with PostGres, MS SQL or other Relational Database backend a strong plus.
· Experience developing in Linux, Apache, Tomcat
· Strong experience with unit testing technologies (Junit, HttpUnit, etc)
· Experience in JSF (e.g. JBoss RichFaces)
· Experience with JavaScript, including AJAX and JSON (Dojo a plus)

Responsibilities
· Architect and develop scalable applications in a dynamic environment, using Java, Struts, and Spring Framework.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects, and to coordinate the work of others.
· Lead Architectural initiatives and develop architectural methodology and specifications
· Managing team of developers
