Must have Financial Trading industry experience, Fixed Income a Plus

These projects which will require advanced and unique Oracle and Sybase skills set. I would like to bring in a resource that is well versed on these two database platforms. This will support these strategic projects moving forward as well as reduce the critical dependency on a single Sybase DBA with which we are currently faced.

Oracle skills:

Oracle 10G / 11G Real Application Cluster on Solaris Zone Clusters and RedHat Enterprise Linux
Oracle Data Guard and Replication
Oracle RMAN to NetBackup
Oracle Archiving and XML
Oracle Internet Directory
Oracle Fine Grain Access
Sybase skills:

Sybase ASE 12.5 on Solaris
Sybase migration to Sybase15 / SQL Server / Oracle
Sybase replication
Database Hardware Performance tuning
Hardware
General database skills:

Overall understanding of transactional and batch processes
Advanced knowledge in relational model and design
Database security and network administration
Performance tuning, Index design, and sessions / connection pooling
Data export and import strategies
