Director, Consolidations and Reporting - (US-NY-Melville)
Compensation: $150K - $175K / Year

Primary Responsibilities:
· Participate in monthly financial statement closing and consolidation process.
· Actively participate in the preparation of the Company’s regular SEC financial reports, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
· Manage relationships with regional / country controllers, including providing advice on consistent and appropriate application of accounting policies and U.S. GAAP.
· Work with team members on all financial statement disclosure compliance.
· Help identify and evaluate the organization's financial reporting risk areas and provide key input to the development of controls in the consolidation process.
· Prepare and/or revise accounting policies and procedures to reflect new accounting pronouncements or guidance, to improve clarity or to respond to changing requirements.
· Assist with projects and initiatives within the Corporate and U.S. Finance groups.
· Interact with external auditors to clarify the Company’s accounting positions and provide supporting audit evidence.
Competencies:
· Broad exposure to global accounting book-closing and consolidated financial statements processes.
· Experience in financial statement consolidations, including multiple functional currency entities and complex intercompany relationships.
· Keen understanding of foreign currency conversion, revaluation and translation.
· Proficiency in SEC reporting requirements.
· Experience in performing technical accounting research, and exposure to complex accounting issues such as stock-based compensation, fair value accounting, and revenue recognition.
· Organized and attentive to details.
· Proven ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
· Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills.

Education/Experience:
SOFTWARE PRODUCT COMPANY EXPERIENCE
· Finance executive with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
· CPA required.
· Minimum of 10 years experience. A mix of experience in Big 4 public accounting and public company financial management is preferred, but not necessarily required.
