This role is for a Senior Web developer with responsibility for JAVA/JSP/Struts/J2EE development within Prime Services Technology, focusing on a large strategic initiative. This role requires extensive Front End DHTML /Ajax skill, using Java and JavaScript. It is highly preferred that the candidate have experience in Securities Industry. 

The candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work collaboratively within a team environment. Attention to detail, excellent verbal communication skills, and strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential attributes. 

The groupis responsible for all prime brokerage activities across debt, equity and FX globally. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
§ Work with a team in delivering a Web Portal using Java/Struts/Spring on J2EE Web logic Architecture. 
§ Develop Oracle database functions like Store Procedures 
§ Write unit test cases for testing various parts of the application. 
§ Perform unit, integration and system testing. 
§ Identify main areas of design/implementation risk and implement successful mitigating actions 
§ Provide QA testing support 
§ Develop implementation documentation for training/operational use 

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE 
Essential: 
·Java,JSP/J2ee using Web logic 5 to 6 +years total experience 
Exposure to Web frameworks and Design Patterns. 2+ Years 
Good JavaScript , CSS, ,HTML, DHTML, AJAX(must) 2+ Years 
XML marshalling API 1+ Years 
MultiThreading , WebPerformance 1+years 
Relational DB - Oracle using JDBC , Stored Proc knowledge 1+ years 
Experience with Congnos XML API is a plus. 
RIA experience (Flex) is a plus
