Required qualifications for the job:
· Bachelors Degree (BS or BA)
· 10-15 years of practical experience in management consulting, corporate operations, management
· Must be willing to travel at least 75% of the time
· A broad-based and business-oriented perspective on sales and customer-related issues, including having extensive experience working with or in sales or other customer-related functions
· Demonstrated experience developing and delivering significant levels of new consulting business and/or securing opportunities for add-on work within established client relationships
· Deep expertise with the design, development and implementation of the following: Sales Performance Management - including sales compensation design, administration, territory design, quota setting; Direct Sales Force Strategy; Sales Organizational Development, Sales Business Processes; Sales Technology and Infrastructure/CRM
· Deep sales or customer-related expertise in at least one of the following industries: Financial Services, Health Care, Life Sciences, High Tech, Media, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, or Consumer Products fields
· Proficiency using computer software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Access
Ideal qualifications for the job:
· Bachelors Degrees in Business, Economics or Psychology
· The ability to understand and communicate the linkages between the different topics within Sales Force Effectiveness
· Experience interfacing with top management of global organizations
· The ability to bring about impactful change in a client organization
· Knowledge and developing thought leadership on current trends in Sales Force Effectiveness
· Experience leading and managing large complex engagements
· Project management experience including: managing day-to-day client relationships and expectations, use of project management tools, delivery against project plans, prioritization of tasks, and risk management
· Experience managing a combined client / consultant team
· Experience conducting performance reviews and coaching staff
· The ability to build relationships within the practice, as well as with other Deloitte Consulting practices
· Experience working with teams in the development of proposals and participating in client-facing sales presentations
· Further developing an already established network of external contacts that can be leveraged in the sales process
