Senior Software Developer - (US-NY-New York)

Compensation: $150K - $160K / Year

Research, design and develop applications such as options market making system, exchange connectivity modules, risk management tools, and messaging tools, both server-side and client-side, in a globally distributed environment. Develop software components to connect applications to multiple exchanges in the US and abroad. Liaise with internal business teams to evaluate operational and performance requirements to make technical analyses and develop software solutions. 
Formulate, design and modify systems utilizing Java and C++. Utilize scientific analysis to incorporate user requirements, technology and hardware limitations, as well as time and cost limitations. 

/Required Skills/ 

* Master's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, plus at least 
1 year of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or 
related. *Experience must include developing high-performance/real-time distributed systems*, use of C, C++, Java, Swing, SQL, integration of Java and C++ code, and experience working in a derivatives trading environment. 
* Good oral and written communication skills
