• Knowledge of one or more of the business functions across insurance operations, including underwriting, reinsurance, claims, investments and financial reporting 
• At least 1 or more years experience working in the insurance industry including life, health, property & casualty, reinsurance, annuity, or similar institutions 
• Understanding of the end-to-end life cycle of data transactions across Insurance applications including data integration requirements 
• Ability to link Insurance industry specific business requirements to Data Management concepts (Metadata, Master Data, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Architecture, Reporting & Analytics) 
• Knowledge of the strategic business drivers and operational process requirements within the Insurance industry 
• Experience working with data modeling, warehousing and reporting teams to understand requirements to support Insurance operational or risk focused analytics and reporting 
• Ability to effectively translate Data Management concepts to CxO level executives to influence data agenda at an Enterprise Level 
• Experience working in multiple or global projects and resources across multiple disciplines to deliver Data Management solutions 
• Exposure to one or more of leading Policy or Claims Administration software solutions (Guidewire, CSC, Fiserv, Accenture, Innovation Group, Insurity, SAP, AON, etc.) a plus 
• Knowledge or experience with leading Economic Capital management and modeling tools a plus
