The role is to support clients who trade on their front-end and back-end algo trading systems running in a remote data center that is managed from their Murray Hill office. This is a level 2-3 support position that combines working with technical personnel and traders from client firms, working with vendors to build trading connectivity, and working with other groups within the company to service client requests, build new trading systems, and troubleshoot and maintain trading systems. 

Responsibilities Include: 
- Monitoring electronic trading systems 
- Troubleshooting algo order trading and technical issues 
- Configuring, deploying, and maintaining trading systems 
- Integrating with client and broker trading systems 
- Certifying FIX traffic with clients and brokers 

* Minimum Qualifications:* 
- Bachelor degree 
- 5-10 years experience supporting an electronic trading environment 
- 5-10 years heavy scripting experience (Ruby, perl, or similar) 
- Understanding of FIX protocol 
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
- Strong customer service orientation 
- Strong experience with UNIX and Linux 
- Experience with TCP/IP networking 
- Experience with revision/source control systems 
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills 
- Experience with and understanding of databases (Oracle, MySql)
