Hands-on Interactive Business Analyst who will work with the creative and technology teams on interactive projects. The candidate will be responsible for a web-based application with complex business rules. This person must have the broad skills required to not only lead projects which are related to this application, but must develop in depth knowledge to support configuration of business rules within the application and troubleshooting as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Minimum 5 years of IT experience in a combination of IT business analysis
Prefer 2 years of experience in full life-cycle management of small to large scale web-based application development
Prefer 4 years of IT business analysis or support positions with high-level problem solving and functional system and/or project delivery experience
Proven ability to manage and develop relationships with vendors and clients
Proven ability to troubleshoot and facilitate resolution to application issues as either a SME or business analyst
Prior involvement in managing multiple projects concurrently effectively and efficiently
Proven written and oral presentation skills
In depth experience and knowledge of typical business analyst deliverables – e.g. Use Cases
Team player
Business Analysis:
Interview clients and customers, analyze feedback and define business requirements and project scope.
Work with clients to priorities business requirements.
Document use cases, processes and workflows.
Understand client’s vision and be the “voice” of the client in meetings.
Work with cross functional teams and resources to ensure business requirements and vision are understood.
Work with test teams and QA resources to ensure test cases and plans map to use cases.
Work with technology resources to understand LOE, level of effort required to implement business requirements. If required discuss technology options to fulfill client vision.
During implementation, development work with technology team to ensure solution is consistent with business needs and vision.
Assist and lead the user acceptance process to ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
Effectively communicate issues and opportunities to clients, team members and internal management in a timely manner.
Ensure project requirements are synchronized with capabilities, given time and resource constraints
Must demonstrate ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Strong software analytical skills and product management skills required
Experience with business rules and hands-on configuration a plus
