Treasury Analyst - (US-IL-Chicago)

Compensation: $100K - $120K / Year

Salary quoted above plus a large bonus



Collateral Management– monitor collateral usage with Prime Brokers and ISDA counterparts and manage the movements associated with margin calls and collateral recalls.

Financing analytics– manage Prime Broker margin loan financing and short borrow costs in order to reduce fund expenses.

Cash Management – manage prime broker margin excess levels, sweeping of cash to custodians, and investing short-term cash.

Counterparty Credit – evaluate executing brokers, ISDA counterparts, FCM, and Prime Broker financial strength and monitor credit worthiness.

Currency Hedging – monitor currency hedges on non-dollar share classes.



The optimal person will possess:



Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in finance or accounting.

Hedge Fund experience – preferably 5 years of experience in a similar role within a large hedge fund.

Overall experience – at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Productivity tools – advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Systems and market data knowledge – knowledge of Bloomberg and Geneva functionality is desired.

Financial instrument knowledge – broad product knowledge is required.
