The team is responsible for building scalable, low latency services to provide technical analysis studies and strategy back testing to service the company's charting applications, as well as infrastructure to allow for quick development and deployment of new technical analysis studies. This includes building infrastructure for load balancing and fail over using high performance computing techniques.
The ideal candidate will be capable of taking ownership of complex problems, driving themselves and others to define and implement solutions in a time-critical manner. Candidates should
Be well versed in .NET technologies, parallel computation techniques. Knowledge of technical analysis techniques is a must. Interest and experience developing using detailed instrumentation and the ability to quickly and easily track down issues in a live system is desirable.
A demonstrated ability to identify and address system risks is preferred.
Be able determine the evolution of the product and define functional and technical goals and be able to plan and manage projects to successful completion.
Have in depth knowledge and sound procedural and object oriented design and code development practices.
Be able to design for and administer various lifecycle issues including maintenance, monitoring, deployment, failure recovery.
