This position also works to:
- Develop specific implementation schedules
- Research new IPT networking trends and technologies
- Work closely with the Data Network Infrastructure team to implement best practices
- Provide technical cross-training for colleagues
- Generate documentation including project plans, network designs, topology diagrams, IP/VLAN address schemas and configuration files
- Provide fault analysis and troubleshooting Key Criteria Qualified candidates must a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree and will demonstrate experience with: - Project management
- OSI Layer 1-4 technologies, specifications and design best practices
- Migration from traditional voice systems to standards-based IP Telephony
- SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) implementation
- Dynamic routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP and BGP Candidates with expert-level knowledge in the following areas are highly preferred:
- Large-scale IPT deployments
- Session border controllers
- Avaya IPT software and hardware platforms
