They are trying to hire someone to run their IT security practice in the US. Must come from consulting Cannot be a pure executive but someone who still has technical underpinnings and, of course, marketing savvy. The compensation will be "significant" as will be the travel. Responsible for strategic direction and build a thriving technology consulting practice Building a world-class technology consulting offering & making it a choice of work place for technology consultants Collaborate with the different business units and help them deliver unique consulting solutions As the Practice head you will be in the uniquely valuable role of influencing associates and clients in all offerings. This will include providing thought leadership in Advanced Application Engineering, Business Process Integration, Digital Security, Content Management & Portals, Social, High performance computing areas including concepts, technology , products, services and best practices Responsible and accountable for delivery of key business KPIs for Consulting function– Consulting Revenue and P&L against budget, Customer satisfaction, Utilization/Billability of consulting team and Quality of revenue REQUIREMENTS Minimum 14 years experience in senior IT positions with a strong preference for head of a practice in a leading IT Services / consulting organization. In-depth, current expertise and demonstrated experience in one or multiple areas of enterprise technologies and in particular implementing best practices and designing, selecting and implementing enterprise systems. Demonstrated ability to find, target, and win new business Demonstrated experience in collaborating with multiple internal & external stakeholders Proven and very strong project management skills in managing multiple, large-scale IT projects. Experience in leading change management projects involving changes in organizational culture through the selection and adaptation of creative best practice methods including re-engineering, outsourcing, and decentralization.
