DMTML | | Description: | The team is responsible of delivering a centralized, consolidated solution for sending intelligent notifications for newly published content of interest to subscribers based on user specified subscription and entitlements. The key focus areas are being able to serve near real time notifications to customers for various content sets (both internal and external), in a highly scaled setup serving thousands of customers concurrently. The alerts team will also be working on building and providing a pluggable framework for our customers where they can use our infrastructure to deliver their customized notifications to their own customers. We are looking for a senior developer who will play a part in creating a world class streaming search and alerting experience for the company's flagship product . The ideal candidate will leverage his/her refined skills working with product and business teams, transforming business goals and requirements into reality. TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required/Must have:
1. Front-end Technologies like JSON, Java Script, CSS, XML, HTML 5, XHTML, DHTML
2. Object Oriented Concepts and problem solving skills.
3. Knowledge of underlying concepts for data structures, processes, threads.
4. At least some programming Experience in non UI environments. Desired/Plus:
1. Experience with column-oriented databases is a plus.
2. Programming experience in C#, Java , or C++
3. Linux / *nix working knowledge.
4. Shell scripts, Perl
5. NO SQL Concepts / Experience COMPETENCIES
Desired/Plus:
1. Experience with financial services as businesses is a plus.
