-2 years of SQL experience Proven track record, 10- 15 years, of experience doing business systems analysis. Knowledge of fixed income asset management principles with domestic and international investment management practices. Specifically knowledge of global settlements including Swift, ISITC and FIX messaging, standard settlement instructions, collateral management, income collection, reconciliation and multi-currency accounting. Understand purposes, objectives, practices, and procedures of the department and business units within fixed income middle and back office operations. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills to make technical and non-technical material understandable to business units, make presentations to management and other personnel, and to conduct meetings and training sessions. Structured Analysis and Design practices preferred. Must be able to diagram and document processes and workflows. ? Responsible for production and development efforts supporting fixed income confirmation, trade, cash and FX settlement instructions, posting to accounting, reconcilement to custodians and brokers, collateral management, investment/fund accounting, and performance measurement
? Produces project documentation
? Coordinates development teams on large and/or complex projects. Translates end user computing requirements for use by the IT Development team.
? Works with business partners and systems personnel to identify new business workflow or change current processes to enhance their effectiveness.
? Communicates system changes and processes to appropriate personnel, documenting any processes as necessary.
? Able to write detail specifications including detail data mapping of input and out put files, formula definition, User Interface layout and mapping to internal data.
