They are seeking an outstanding candidate to join an agile, highly professional team that collaborates with both Technology professionals as well as Business representatives in the delivery and support of infrastructure solutions to support thier algorithmic trading environment.
Responsibilities Assist in the support of Linux Blade server environment
Assist in the support of Windows and Mac desktops
Own and lead infrastructure projects to completion with transparency
Provide operational support as needed
Document infrastructure solutions and maintain documentation
Will interact with Colocation Providers and vendors to resolve production issues and daily operations Required Qualifications/Skills At least 2 years of experience in supporting Linux (CentOS preferred) in a production environment
At least 2 years experience in an infrastructure/desktop support capacity
Active Directory and LDAP integration experience
Shell programming and automation
Good communication skills
Strong Operations and Implementation management skills
Strong work ethic, hands-on mentality and the ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a small and highly collaborative team environment Desired Qualifications/Skills Basic networking skills (routers, switches) and a desire to learn.
VMWare/Virtualization experience a plus
Basic Storage Management skills (SAN, NAS)
Experience managing and supporting remote servers and infrastructure
MySQL / PostgreSQL experience
