QA team currently comprises of 3 members supporting the in house Quality Assurance for the product group’s platform-Middle Tier services and an innovative project Analytical Data cloud. The team is in growth phase and will reporting to a local QA manager. The Goal of the QA Team is to test, validate and verify the middle tier of the Platform to ensure strict and complete adherence to the product requirements and guidelines. The team aims to provide an end to end quality assurance of all enhancements being rolled out. The team maintains close coordination with Product owners and development teams in an Agile environment.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute investment & trading strategies to determine data quality & optimization opportunities.
• Manage operational relationships with data source providers, internal customers and technology operations partners.
• Support product, development and client relationship management as necessary.
• Testing on a daily basis based on constant interaction with the development and product owner
• Building automation scripts based on automation framework.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Required/Must have:
• Strong financial data manipulation and analysis skills – expertise in SQL, statistical techniques and Excel.
• Passion for data and the opportunities it affords.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following data domains: equity, macroeconomic data, fixed income, commodities or funds.
• Experience in data management (metadata management, database management), data manipulation, data profiling (quality grading, data modeling, concordance / reference master management) and data governance.
• Understanding data distribution including xml, api’s, datafeeds and database replication.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience in the design of test scenarios, planning and execution of tests, analysis and evaluation of results.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills & Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Desired /Plus:
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• Ideally a holder of a Foundation Certificate (or equivalent) in Software Testing. Test Practitioner (or equivalent) qualification also desirable

Total Years of Experience: 7-10 Yrs
Recent # Years of Role & Technology Specific Experience: 5 – 8 Yrs
Education: Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or Statistics
