Extensive knowledge and experience of Core Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting, and use of Cisco Best Practices
CCIE level hands on experience with the configuration of VRF, BGP, OSPF is a must
Extensive knowledge and experience of Network Security, including the design, configuration, and tuning of Cisco security appliances
Experience with different firewall technologies
Extensive understanding of IPS/IDS and event correlation
Network tuning to achieve high performance
Experience with all aspects of multi-site network designs and support (LAN, MAN, WAN)
Candidates must possess: Strong interpersonal communication and clear and articulate speech
The ability to expertly convey information in non-technical terms with professionalism and confidence
Capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing environment
All areas of networking including FC SAN design and implementation Required Experience Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Work Experience Required:
7-10 years minimum experience as senior technology professional
Proven leadership skills Essential Job Functions:
Design, Configuration, and Troubleshooting of Enterprise class networks and systems
Technical product evaluation and selection
Strong communications skills
Ability to present technical concepts and create technical documentation
Team player, Goal oriented, with initiative to work until job is complete
Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
Ownership and accountability for the global network
Motivate and develop direct reports and other staff
