Responsibilities/Duties
• Provide ongoing oversight and analysis of approved credits for the 2a-7 money market funds supporting Portfolio Managers on the tax exempt liquidity desk.
• Ability to evaluate industry trends and prepare written research reports as required by 2a-7 regulations.
• Work closely with rating agencies, client service executives, broker-dealers and commercial paper issuers as part of the credit review process.
• Act independently or as part of a team while performing research.
• Prepare documentation and/or analysis to support investment recommendations.
• Maintain continuing education to keep abreast of developments in the market and the investment industry. Competencies
• Knowledge of municipal market sectors.
• Excellent research and analytic skills.
• Ability to make buy, sell and hold recommendations for securities, as needed.
• Computer literate.
• Incumbent must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):
• Undergraduate degree in business or a quantitative field of study.
• Five (5) or more years of fixed income experience.
