Description:    · 3 – 4 years experience working in a similar capacity with proven database warehouse design and development experience 
· SQL Server 2005 and 2008 programming and database administration experience 
· Must have a record of creating and maintaining large, scalable databases supporting both custom built and third party applications 
· Must have strong experience developing SQL Server Integration Services 
· Proven capabilities providing database base programming support and troubleshooting to multiple IT projects 
· Strong experience designing star schemas using Erwin 
· SQL programming, T-SQL, triggers and store procedure capabilities coupled with experience building/maintaining SQL Server database replications 
· Database administration experience including import, export, data transformation, backup and restore strongly recommended 
· Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized and have exceptional writing and communicating skills 
· Forward thinking approach in building demoralized data warehouse 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 
· 3 – 4 years of Development DBA experience using SQL Server Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably XP), working in short iterations and using test driven development. 
· Experience in iterative system design, development and implementation, a plus 
· Experience working with open source solutions 
· Experience programming in Java a plus 
· Experience in Business Objects universe design a plus 
· Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and will have exceptional writing and communication skills 
· Demonstrated a record of developing successful applications that are highly integrated and reliable 
· Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 

Qualifications 
· Exposure to all phases of data integration and/or warehousing life cycle including planning, analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of data and meta-data 
· experience in designing and developing of mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows in PowerCenter 
· Good exposure to working with the multiple file formats, relational database systems and different application platforms 
· Good exposure in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Management, Troubleshooting, Reverse Engineering and Performance tuning in various level of the ETL Process 
· Strong experience in performance tuning for Informatica processing 
· Strong experience in SQL and its stored-procedure derivatives (e.g. PL/SQL, etc.) 
· Proficiency in relational database design and database administration 
· Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments, file manipulations and shell scripting 
· Experience working with Informatica 9.x a plus 
· Must be able manage individual workload and deliver to agreed upon project milestones 
· 2- 3 years Informatica Experience 
· Exceptional mapping and workflow development skills, administration and configuration and deployment and code management experience 
· Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, architectures and technical standards 
· At least a four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field
