Description:    Minimum Education: Bachelors 

• Architect IT Infrastructure Services solution for large & strategic IT Infrastructure deals; solutions including strategically defining technology roadmaps, innovative pricing model and transformation initiatives. 

• Position The firm as a trusted advisor to client’s decision-makers by establishing credibility and expertise in areas of IT Transformation and Value Engineering 

Participate in development and execution of winning sales strategies by working closely with Sales 
• Provide solution leadership and strategic guidance during the solution development process to ensure bridging of the gap between the business problem faced by the client and the benefits available from our solutions and services. Translate customer requirements into operational strategies associated with each solution and offering to ensure client needs are met in a cost-effective and timely manner. 

• Architect and support competitive global sales solutions of proposal responses to RFP (Requests for Proposal), RFI (Requests for Information), SOW (Statements of Work) and various similar responses to service requests that are pre-qualified or deemed “Large Deals”. 

• Collaborate with all engaged internal organizations to create a solution that aligns and balances the technical client needs and our internal corporate margins whilst still satisfying the financial target of the prospect. 

• Interface and participate in business development discussions across cross-functional teams (Consulting, alliance, others, etc.) and internal and external executive management to ensure consistency in solution development and implementation. 

• As part of the Large Deal pursuits provide multi-stream solution crafting, defense and articulation of the target end state operations model: 

o Solution of complex / custom ITO infrastructure bids that may require: 
? Multi-technology domain opportunities 
? End-to-End IT Outsourcing bid support, including data centers, people and asset acquisition 
? Business Unit collaboration with application development teams 
? Effort estimates, SLA definition, onsite/ offshore team composition, service coverage, etc across server, storage, database, middleware, helpdesk, DC, messaging and other similar infrastructure. 
• Lead and anchor workshops / discussions with clients, partners and COE’s to arrive at solutions addressing the client business needs and which provide for material environment transformation. 

• Assist team with defining the transition and transformation roadmaps aligned with the end-state architecture to enable end to end business management as well as: 
• Develop governance and management structures for successful execution of the engagements 
• Effort estimates, SLA definition, onsite/ offshore team composition, service coverage, etc across server, storage, database, middleware, helpdesk, messaging and other similar infrastructure platforms/ technologies 
• Liaise with service delivery partners and technology partners s to fulfill responses – Savvis, VMware, Compucom, ServiceNow, Microsoft, NetApp HP, etc., 
• Effectively budget FTE resources for global managed services and /or global shared services and proposed architectural solutions for geographically dispersed datacenters including server, storage, messaging distributed systems, system management tools, datacenter facilities and system management software that may span full ITO initiatives including cloud offerings, datacenter, storage, service desk, desktop, security, network, business continuity, disaster recovery, service integration management and service delivery management. 

• Facilitate reduced risk measures to the client and The firm; manage solution profits and losses; participate in solution business commercial plan creation; craft technology refresh strategies; assist in preparing financial models to ensure that client interests are met and all cost impacts have been considered. 

• Identify business requirements; evaluate concepts such as market timing, RFP deliverable timings, compelling event and problem identification to ensure that delivered solutions meet both short and long-term FIRM and client business performance expectations. 

• Work with team Business Analysts to deliver the architected solution write-up 

• Assist broader team with contracting language to represent the selected services, including SLA’s, roles and responsibilities matrix, statement-of-work, finance terms, etc. 

Skills Required 

• Strong technical and business analysis background 

• Experience in Consulting and interactions with C-level executives 

• Experience in portfolio analysis, IT application/infrastructure rationalization 

• Expertise in conceptualizing and articulating IT vision, transformation strategy and business case for achieving desired business objectives 

• Knowledge of current and emerging technology trends in the areas of IT Infrastructure Services 

• Hands-on experience in IT Transformation Strategy, IT Governance, outsourcing and large scale change management at organization/division level 

• Should have managed large sized projects involving Application management services 

• Experience in proposal development for large IT Transformation or outsourcing initiatives 

• In-depth knowledge and awareness of service delivery management processes like ITIL framework 

• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, analytical and problem solving skills 

Qualifications 

• MBA or MS is a plus 
• Approx. 12 - 15 years experience in Information Technology (Infrastructure Services) 
• Hands-on experience leading large multiyear deal of at least $50M 
• Demonstrated capability of achieving IT efficiencies by reducing IT spend using innovative strategies
