Description:    The right person will have very specialized procurement expertise of IT infrastructure (network/servers) as well as consumer products (laptops, printers, software) and serves as an advisor/thought partner to senior technology leaders. Candidate must possess excellent time management, interpersonal and relationship building skills. The incumbent will be responsible for organizing and implementing contract and procurement strategies and programs to increase operational efficiency. 

Responsibilities: 

Create a new technology purchasing function for the IT organization ($25+ MM budget). Responsible for all activities including procuring technology hardware, software and maintenance acquisition and centralizing the IT organization's purchasing activity. Also responsible for contract management, renewal, enterprise licenses, vendor relationships and vendor performance management. Interface with IT leaders, to help craft the vision, negotiate the best deals and cultivate relationships that will benefit their technology platforms.
