Description:    Excellent opportunity to join a growing team working on exciting technologies. As part of the development team, you will be taking an active part in deciding designs and patterns, learning existing components, troubleshooting, and coding. 

They are looking to hire a mid to senior level Java developer to join the trading system development team. 
To serve their considerable growth, they are re-architecting and re-designing the execution and order management platform to use the most current and cutting-edge technologies that will help scale and handle more than 100K transactions per seconds in real-time. 

The candidate will play a vital role in designing, developing & delivering the trading system within a specified time-budget. 

The candidate should have the following skills and experience: 
• 5+ years core Java development* 
• Extensive experience with: 
o Java concurrency patterns and practices 
o FX and/or Equities o Low latency/hi-frequency messaging/middleware handling 
o OMS/EMS or any real-time transaction management system 
• Strong understanding of Java collections framework, garbage collection, object life cycles etc 
• Familiarity with Linux 
• Bachelor's degree in a computer science 

The following additional skills and experience are desirable: 
• Experience with Tibco messaging 
• Experience with Ruby / Rails a plus 
• Experience with Spring container configuration and maven build configuration 
• Experience with Git or other distributed version control system
