Description:    Direct and manage the development activities of a team of programmers and analysts for a group within Development & Data Services. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Banking Technology Experience PLUS 

1. Two/four year degree in IT-related curriculum or equivalent education and related 
work experience 
2. Ten to twelve years of experience or equivalent proficiency in managing people and 
applications design and development 
3. Experience as an application development manager supporting Wealth, Trust, or brokerage lines of business is highly preferred. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Manage and direct team members within the Section to ensure effective project 
definition, planning, development, and delivery. 
2. Work as a business/technical consultant with clients, analysts, and team members to 
develop solutions to meet complex business needs. 
3. Plan and develop departmental budgets in accordance with established guidelines; 
administer compliance to meet budgetary goals and negotiate changes as required. 
Plan and manage the Workload Planning process for the Section. 
4. Provide reporting to staff, colleagues, senior management and clients on a regular 
basis to ensure all relative and critical information is clearly and expeditiously shared. 
5. Responsible for assigned personnel regarding employment, career development, 
performance evaluations, salary recommendations, promotions, transfers and 
terminations within established policies and guidelines. 
6. Review technical and business processes, standards and procedures making 
recommendations for continuous improvement.
