Description:    Residual Risk Management for the automotive finance business. 

These duties will include: 

Analyzing complex business data 
Residual Value and Residual Loss Forecasting. 
Work with Business Partners to reduce Residual Value Risk throughout lease life cycle by developing off lease strategies. 
Establish performance trends within vintages or other segments (model, model year, term). 
Identify opportunities for augmenting residual risk strategies across the entire lease lifecycle that reflects varied levels of market risk and changes in the macroeconomic environment.

Qualifications 
7+ years risk experience. 
Bachelor s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics or another quantitative field. 
Ability to pull and analyze data in a statistical or business analytical tool. This should include familiarity with descriptive statistics, correlation analyses and other statistical modeling techniques. 
Experience working with large datasets that may contain data at different stages of summarization (i.e. consumer to market level). 
Demonstrated ability to combine data at multiple levels of aggregation into a model, tool or other solution. 
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. 
Must be experienced w/ statistical analysis tools, such as SAS, SQL, SPSS or equivalent. 

Plusses 
Graduate degree in a quantitative field. 
Residual value risk experience 
Understanding of Auto Leasing with an emphasis on Residual Value Portfolio Management. 
Understanding of 3rd party data sources that measure vehicle value retention including Manheim Market Report, Black Book, alg and other sources as required. 
Understanding of vehicle product life cycle. 
Understanding of Manufacturer Subvention process and impacts on vehicle retention. 
Knowledge of Residual Value setting process. 
Knowledge of Residual Value Loss Forecasting.
