Description:    The Capital Markets group within a global bank in New York City, is seeking an experienced developer with excellent programming ability in C++ on Linux and/or Windows. You will be working on supporting trading desks, developing trading systems. This is an active trading environment where you will be expected to do some trading as well. You must be comfortable working in an un-siloed environment where he/she could be moved from equities to fixed income to commodities, etc. depending on which areas are expanding and which contracting.

This position requires the following:

Excellent programming in C++ on Linux and/or Windows.
strong business knowledge of analytics and at least one asset class (equities preferred)
experience supporting a trading desk (minimum 5 years)

Masters or PhD in a quantitative field is a plus.
Series 7 is a plus - you will be required to get it.

This role is located in midtown Manhattan.
Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer in the USA.
This position is on-site in NYC.
