Description: Energetic sales consultant position responsible for the development and retention of Commercial Card business in a specified market while working closely with Business Bankers in a consultative selling role.
Responsible for meeting annual sales goals and sales activity targets by developing and executing a strategy to retain and further penetrate existing client relationships through regular calling efforts. Develops sales plans for territory and key customer accounts and analyzes customer needs. Serves as the lead advocate for Commercial Card within the TM group as well as with assigned partners. Contributes to TM initiatives and the business line strategy. Primarily a travel related sales position with some phone/web sales. Works under the direction of a Regional Sales Manager although role seeks a team member that requires minimal direction and assistance from management.
Qualifications
-Strong knowledge of treasury management product and services.
-3+ years of direct sales experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Card, Merchant Card
-Demonstrated/documented skill set to meet and exceed established sales goals in a Business Development or Business to Business environment
-Ability and willingness to travel required
Preferred Skills
-Bachelor s Degree
-Knowledgeable of, and skilled in, the Commercial Card and/or commercial payables industry
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly technical environment
-Effective verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Dedicated, highly motivated team player with the proven skill-set and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
-Customer facing Commercial Banking experience to regional banking, middle market and /or large corporate organizations
-Proven ability to negotiate and influence expansion of current customer relationships
-Demonstrated ability to work with internal partners across business lines
-Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
-Willingness to relocate
