Primary Skills:        
Description:    · Hands on coding and design using C++ 
· Day to day coordination with an offshore team. 
o Prioritize work for the team. 
o Collect updates and status of tasks on a daily basis 
o Resolve blocking issues and technical clarifications 
o Guide and mentor the offshore resources as required 
o Provide clarifications on a daily basis 
· Day to day coordination with clients. 
o Report status and priorities to clients. 
o Build a close relationship with key client personnel. 
o Resolve the offshore team’s technical and functional clarifications with the client. 
o Problem solving with clients and team members. 
o Setup and customize onsite-offshore delivery process (methodology) for the team 
· Other Duties 
o Ensure streamlined communication between the client and the team. Take ownership of communication as required. 
o Ownership of timelines and quality of deliverables. 
o Ensure that all code conforms to best practices and standards. 
o Overall leadership of the technical team. 
o Must be able to estimate, prioritize and assign work to team members as most appropriate. 
Required Skills/Experience 
· At least 10 years of hands-on software development and design experience 
· At least 4 years of experience directly managing and coordinating offshore teams 
· Hands-on coding experience with the following technologies (Mandatory) 
o At least 8 years of coding experience with C++ and MS Visual C++ 
o At least some experience working with C++ on a Unix flavor 
o Hands on experience working with Agile delivery methodologies 
· Hands on experience implementing and working with the following general concepts (mandatory): 
o Design and architecture patterns 
o Code performance and optimization (C++) 
o Performance testing (unit level testing) 
o Code quality and quality measurements 
o Software development processes 
· Should be an excellent team player with strong skills around: 
o Communication skills 
o Offshoring skills 
o Client Facing skills 

Optional Skills/Experience 
· Some experience working with Java UI frameworks would be an advantage. 
· Knowledge of advanced (and optimized) sorting, search and data transformation techniques will be and advantage.
