Description:   

Provide technical leadership and support for customers in a network environment focused on Cisco Data Center offerings. 
Performs pre-sales analysis, design, and recommendations as well as post-sale implementation. Cisco Data Center focus requires the ability to be conversant with Core Route and Switch, LAN/SAN convergence and Cisco UCS blade and rack server solutions. 
Pre-sales efforts include requirements gathering, architecture design, customization and integration within the customer's environment. 
This person will work closely with sales and professional services support group, external vendor partners and customer engineers to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales design to implementation and support. 
The ideal candidate should be experienced with Cisco UCS, Nexus, Catalyst and Security products that are found in enterprise data centers. 
Serve as an Engineer in designing integrated solutions as part of the firm's field sales and services teams that design and build integrated data centers with servers, storage, and networking and virtualization products from our tier one vendors. 
This position will require some travel and is customer facing. 

Qualifications: 
5+ years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following disciplines: 
Cisco core route and switch products 
Cisco storage switching (Nexus and/or MDS) 
Cisco server products 
Cisco security products 
Must have current Cisco CCIE and hands-on relevant experience in the following : 

5+ years of relevant implementation experience working at a Cisco VAR 
5+ years of related experience in network environments, including network engineering (hardware and software), network security practices and designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs 
Excellent analytical abilities, resulting in problem resolution and solid verbal and written communication skills. 
Excellent technical pre-sales skills, including formal presentations and white boarding Cisco Data Center products and solutions.
