Primary Skills:        
Description:    SKILLS: 

- Experience supporting network infrastructure in medium to large environments. 

- Proven network trouble-shooting skills. 

- Knowledge of Cisco IOS, (Cisco certified). 

- Knowledge of L2/L3 traffic flows including spanning-tree and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. 

- Good understanding of Windows server architecture, particularly IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS etc. 

- Good experience in the administration of multi-site high-availability firewall environments including Cisco ASA and Checkpoint on Nokia. 

- Experience with remote access services/authentication systems (Preferably Citrix / Aventail). 

- Experience of web proxy and content filtering systems. (Preferably Bluecoat). 

- Experience of Polycom Video Conferencing\Web Cam technology a plus. 

- Experience of voice over IP a plus. 

- Strong emphasis on team working and support. 

- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal English). 



OTHER SKILLS (preferred): 

- Cisco ACS / TACACS+. 

- Cisco Works, SolarWinds, Wireshark. 

- Cisco Wireless technologies 



TECHNOLOGIES: 

- Bluecoat 

- Aventails / Citrix 

- Checkpoint / ASA 

- Cisco (CCNA Minimum) 

- Polycom 

- Mitel VoIP 

- Protocols: OSPF, BGP, RIPv2, IP, DNS, DHCP. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Maintain and support the IT infrastructure to meet corporate business needs. 

- Provide a responsive and timely 3rd level support service covering all aspects of the network infrastructure. 

- Contribute to the maintenance of a modern, secure and sustainable IT technological environment, taking advantage of technological developments where appropriate. 

- Contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate IT control procedures, processes and methodologies to ensure compliance, integrity of data, processes and security. 

- Liaise with other IT teams and business functions.
