- at least 6 years experience as Intermediate to Senior Business/System Analyst / QA Analyst experience
- Experience documenting requirements through a variety of techniques, including process flows, use cases, business context diagrams,
Current/future state, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Financial industry experience, preferably buy side / asset management or mutual funds.
- Independent, detailed, with organizational awareness and relationship building skills.
- Experience in QA and testing.
- Can work independently and work with team
Responsibilities:
- Document Epoch business processes and various user roles
- Document user system interactions and use cases (as required)
- Prepare inventory of various user reports and other system outputs
- Perform data scrubbing and reconciliation as required in preparation for DC migration
- Develop data migration plans for the DC Migration project
- Develop and execute DC Migration test strategy and test plans.
- Participate in development and execution of system cutover / deployment plans
- Build expertise in Epoch systems, processes, and data flows
- Establish strong relationships with Epoch business, technology and 3rd party vendors.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Understand business requirements, conduct business analysis, undertake QA testing and help streamline existing processes
- Prepare data mapping and perform testing of applications.
- Develop in depth knowledge of applications and their interdependences.
- Analyze and manipulate large data sets.
- Understand, document and interpret complex user requirements.
- Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models to contribute to the development of project plans including project charter, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis and time line estimates.
- Develop use cases, defining and documenting user procedures and workflows, and how each class of user interacts with each system function.
- Assist in the development of conversion and implementation strategies. Conduct pre and post implementation reviews. Supports system implementation and production readiness.
- Develop test plans, test cases, perform testing. Provide user documentation, user training, and post implementation support.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors. Ensure that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated.
