Rate:   $175K - $200K +bonus

 

Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science, or comparable experience

5+ years of experience growing and managing software development teams

10+ years software development experience

Track-record of building fast, reliable, large, distributed, scalable, service-oriented web services

Person should be working with a content provider or streaming service.

Familiar and comfortable with the technologies, the tradeoffs, and the design patterns emerging in cloud computing.

Proven experience in building simple & intuitive user interfaces.

Recruit and lead stars.

Excellent communications skills

Ability to work with internal & external resources (3rd party systems, vendors, etc.) and seamlessly integrate into development efforts.

 

Responsibilities

Define metadata standards for digital asset packages with our content partners worldwide- Build tools to efficiently manage and track packages and assets

Architect and develop scalable, highly available solutions that run in an EC2 environment

Integrate with large file delivery/acceleration products and services

Build and integrate with tools to automate qualify and conformity verification

Build crowd sourcing tools for enhanced metadata, subtitles, QC etc.

Build a secure portal and API for internal users and external partners to integrate and work with the partners to manage the integration and optimization of the stack.
