DIRECTOR, IT COMMUNICATION

Rate:   $135K - $175K +bonus
 
Requirements
BA/BS, preferably in Marketing, Technology, or related field of study required
At least 10 to 12 years working with technology and a proven track record in identifying growing trends and the ability to change the culture with new products.
Knowledge of Cisco Webex, Unified Call Manager, Telepresence, MS Lync, and MS SharePoint is desired
Global Experience is desired
Industry experience is preferred, but not required.
10-12 years of experience in IT with significant experience in audio conferencing and internal communication platforms
Working knowledge of information architecture and usability issues as it relates to digital content
Ability to identify new products, market them, and increase adoption within the organization
Significant analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling candidate to prepare and present recommendations to senior management
Ability to influence business and information technology leaders in the effective review and management of communication and collaboration platforms.
Demonstrated ability to understand the technical and tactical but think, act, and communicate in a strategic manner.
Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a team of 6-10 individuals with effective performance management to ensure the success of the team in meeting its goals and objectives.
 
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a framework that defines the enterprise’s overall approach to internal communication, file sharing, collaboration, and visual and voice communication throughout the global organization
Manage a team who are responsible for the companies’ intranet, video platform, Voice, Instant Messaging, file sharing, and digital asset properties. Experience developing strategic communications plans, processes and tactics
Project and personnel management experience and the ability to meet deadlines and stay within budget
Experience providing strategic communications counsel to C-level leadership and all levels of staff
A history of identifying and implementing new media and technology to meet communication challenges of a distributed workforce
The ability to develop collaborative working relationships with diverse personalities and all levels of staff
Ability to drive change and user adoption of new technologies
Help develop, improve and oversee the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise extranet and Microsoft product suite.
Oversee the Microsoft relationship and strategic product roadmap for the entire technology stack
Oversee the Cisco relationship for video and voice products. As we expand globally, how do we keep all of users connected and productive.
