Required skills & experience:
-Strong quantitative and problem solving skills.
-You should currently be working for a Capital Markets firm or Financial SAAS firm. Front-office fixed income experience at top-tier Broker/Dealers preferred. Experience at top analytic vendors or buy-side firms would also be desirable.
-10+ years working as a Business Analyst in a large, structured development environment.
-Experience participating in the process of building analytical tools for front-office or risk applications.
-Experience coordinating various technical groups for product evolution and performance improvements would be highly desired.
-Ability to work effectively in geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams.
-Utilization of sophisticated tools to generate specifications.
-Experience creating Archive-able and Reference-able specifications.
-Experience with some of the following: Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, UML, RUP, XML Mapping, Prototype Building, Visio and Java.
-Strong interest in capital markets and quantitative finance.
 
 
Senior Business Analyst with strong finance knowledge and technology skills to define and develop a next generation of risk management tools. Join the technical product management area and work with colleagues in software development and research to envision in detail and manage the requirements and vision for industry-leading risk management products.
 
Responsibilities:
-Help formulate the product vision and direction for the firm's multi-asset class risk platforms.
-Gather business requirements for several projects.
-Define key performance indicators, functional and quality requirements for the systems.
-Develop wireframe diagrams and mockups for the front-end interfaces of new functionality and systems.
-Be a liaison throughout the software development lifecycle with the technology teams.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (composed of groups such as software engineering, research, data development, and quality assurance) in product improvements throughout release cycles.
-Synthesize individual client needs into product development themes; articulate innovative solutions that address market needs in a holistic manner.
-Prioritize projects while ensuring that required development resources do not exceed budgeted amount.
-Interact with clients and internal colleagues to refine the direction of the products in detail.
